My favourite song.
During my year 1 days, i didn't like old songs that my dad always played and sang. I never listened to any songs that were "outdated" and automatically disliked anything "old".

When i was in year 2, I found this awesome song that was stuck on replay for months. It immediately became my favorite. I kept listening to it and i was sure i wouldn't get bored of it. I couldn't learn this song on guitar, and was depressed for a few months, but my interest in that song eventually faded. Then i found this awesome song on the radio, it was composed in the 1960s. I heard it a few times before, but i never actually listened to the lyrics. When i heard it again, i immediately fell in love with it's melody and lyrics. I tried to learn it on guitar.

When i was in year 3, i started to get disheartened when i realized i might not be able to learn the song. Soon, i even gave up trying to learn it. I turned to clubbing music. Until one day i got really drunk and i felt the world was gonna end. I popped my earpieces on and listened to that song again. That day i was reminded of why it was my favorite song. I never managed to master it though, and i decided to stop trying and focus on other songs to learn.

I'm now graduating, and although i almost never listen to that song anymore, it is always in my play list. My classmates and close friends can probably guess what that song is. I have a dream now, to be able to play music at weddings and pubs. Maybe one day i will master the song, and play it in front of everyone. Even if i can't, i know that will always be my favorite song.

5 Reasons why Batman > x10000 Superman
1) Batman has brains, money and a laboratory. Superman has laser eyes, frost breath, ability to fly, super-strength, x-ray vision, super-speed....and *drumrolls* invulnerability.

2) Batman's archenemy is the Joker, who is 10000 times cooler than Lex Luthor, who is like a bald and more retarded version of Iron Man.

3) "The Dark Knight" was more successful than "Superman Returns"

4) Batman actually has to work out, not like Superman who has a 6 pack the day he was born.

5) Batmobile.

Knock Knock Knockin' on Heaven's Door.
I have forgotten that i had a blog, yet again. -_-

Our unofficial start of year 2 has been nothing but misery and torment, for my course at least. We have been bombarded with tutorials, assignments, ICAs and tests. And i know absolutely NOTHING about MS Access, something i'm gonna be tested on. To add insult to injury, our exams are about a month away.

Crap.

I remember when i first entered poly. I was like, "YAY i'm in poly~". Those days are long gone. ;(

ONOW CIP, which is really a waste of time.

No time for doubt
First week of school has passed, and i have gotten back all of my results. Can't say i'm jumping for joy or anything similar but....

Building Services : 63
Elementary Construction Technology : 62
Tort Law : 79%

Not happy with a single one of them, even Law. NO! Especially Law. I expected a 85 at least, and now i get owned like a dog by classmates left and right with 80s.

So, is smoking bad?
I have long since insisted that smoking is bad (and expensive). But a few smokers i know of don't seem to mind the prospect of Lung Cancer. I've embarked on a quest to find out their reasons for smoking and here are the results of my research.

"We're all going to die anyway, and when we die is decided by fate. Some people smoke to age 90 years and still live!" - Smoker A

Smoker A insists that our fate is sealed the moment we are born, and all of us have a date whereby we are destined to pass away. I can't help but DISagree. An example, i'm not fated to die today, but i run down the road and slam myself into the nearest bus. My date of death would have been changed.

"People who smoke actually die later, as we are not breathing in 2nd hand smoke. 2nd hand smokers will die sooner!"

Smoker B is inconsiderate, but truer words were never spoken. In a country like Singapore, it's kill or be killed. Unless the people you are killing are your family members. :/

My stand on smoking has not changed. Smoking is bad.|

And also, R.I.P - Rev. One of the best drummers in the world. I shall go A7X tomorrow to honor him.

Telemarketing is lol.
Ok so the first week of my telemarking job has ended, much to my dismay. Because my pay has been significantly lowered, from $500 to around $300. Why must Christmas EVE and New Year EVE be holidays as well... :/

Now, my job involves calling companies and verifying and obtaining information from them. I've recently found out that getting E-mails of company mangers is really hard. There are some instances in which my calls ended up in major failure, and hilarity ensues. Here is a short excerpt from my most retarded call.

Lying is harder than it looks

Me : Hello, i'm calling from *CENSORED*, and i was just looking to verify some basic details of your company with you, if that's alright.
Fag : Err.. ok but make it fast.
Me : Alright sir, may i have the address of your company?
Fag : Oh, i'm on the road now, bye. *Hangs up*

(I F***ING CALLED HIS OFFICE NUMBER!)
