Idols.
One of the rare times where i sit through the entire idols session. It wasn't particularly good, nor was it horrendously bad. Thank god nobody tried to do Beat It and Smooth Criminal. Anyways, as usual, there were good ones and bad ones. Due to lack of creativity, i have to comment on them.
Mr. Billie Jean, nobody does Billie Jean but MJ himself. Enough said.
Mr. Thriller, trying too hard to be MJ with all the high pitched notes but fails hard and ends up butchering a classic.
Mr. Remember the Time, has a voice not suited for Remember the Time, better off singing something like I'll Be There. Or maybe he used up all his energy beatboxing, then i advise him to join Singapore's Got Talent when it debuts.
Ms. Rock With You, DO NOT TURN CLASSIC SONGS INTO CRAPPY 20th CENTURY KANYE WEST RAP SONGS. :/
Ms. I Want You Back, you didn't do the signature Jackson 5 dance in the beginning. :(
The rest did alright, especially You Are Not Alone which was really soulful. Now i really can't wait for Oct 30th, which my timetable clashes with. Guess i have to skip.
